All the major leagues in the world came to a standstill after their countries were affected by covid19. Most of them were coming to an end before the pandemic. There was a stiff competition for some clubs to find a spot for Top four so that next season they can play champions league football  but now they have to wait for the relevant Authorities to give the grern light. Some countries like Germany, Spain , Italy, have been given the green to start from June by their Government. This is aimed to improve the mood of the nations.  But what the medical expert are recommending is that the games will resume but they will be played behind closed doors. What this means is that most of the clubs will have a decrease in revenue that is generated by tickets sold by clubs to the fans. This is why most of clubs have requested their players to allow a paycut. Clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal & Juventus have all implied that move so that the clubs can save money. ...

Premier league champions Manchester city have found themselves on the wrong side of UEFA after they were given a 2 year ban for their bridge in UEFA fair play regulations. It is another blow to the current champions given that they won't be able to lift the premier league Title this season since Liverpool are in fantastic form. Manchester city had all their eyes set on champions league trophy & it is actually the main reason they signed pep gurdiola from Bayern munchen  a couple of seasons ago.
