(ANALYSIS)LOCKDOWN A BAD MOVE FOR KENYA
At this time in our country,covid19 is the talking points. Not only Kenya but all over the world.
Different countries all over the world have taken various measures to curb the spread of the virus. Some have decided to have a total lockdown in their countries. Such countries are Russia, USA, Italy & China just to mention but afew. If Kenya decides to have total lockdown then it will be a bad move . I will give various reasons why I am against this move if it comes to that.
One of the reasons is that our citizens most of them are very poor. They don't have enough money to buy food in bulk when it comes to the total lockdown. You can't say that, just because other countries are doing that we should adopt it .If you look at those countries most of it's citizens are rich , they are capable of surviving for months because they can afford to buy food. Kenyas would starve to death.
The other reason is that our economy cannot be compared with that of Western countries. Those countries are capable of feeding it's citizens without any struggle. Our country will not be able to do that
Another reason is that most of the celebraties in those Western countries are contributing their wealth so has to help it's government to fight Covid19 during this time when there is implementation of total lockdown. In our country it's the opposite. The government is giving musicians money so has to entertain Kenyans during this period. what a joke!. How do you entertain a hungry nation?
How would nomadic communities survive when there is total lockdown? They depend entirely on livestock. Who would feed their animals? Their flocks would die with hunger or even be eaten by wild animals. Instead the government needs to come up with proper measures to curb the spread of the virus without even for a second thinking about total lockdown.

Thank you for knocking out sense in the heads of our leaders...they are practically making decisions without checking if some of the citizens are going to suffer or better after all this...niece piece👏💪
